Pusateri's: A new level of luxury food retail

Project Summary

For the past 50 years, Pusateri's has set the standard for what it means to eat well in Toronto. Established in 1963 by a young Italian Immigrant, Pusateri's legacy was founded on a pursuit of excellence — offering customers a curated selection of the best in meats, cheese and produce. Today it boasts four exclusive locations and two luxurious food halls inside the prestigious Sak's Fifth Avenue.

Cayuga was asked to design and craft a collection of modular luxury produce displays, chocolate, food service and deli cases, and complimentary accessories needed to bring this unique venture to life. The success of our partnership rests on the collaboration that took place during all phases of the project. Our team worked closely with Pusateri's to come up with a one-of-a-kind look leveraging our vast experience with similar high-end food retailers in the US and Canada.

Access to the food hall locations was constricted. The displays' modular design allowed them to fit the different space requirements of each store, and be brought in through service elevators as required. The displays were then assembled on site.

The client was extremely pleased with our ability to understand their needs and envision a collection to fit their exclusive brand within established budgets and timelines.
